This weekend was fun, we celebrating Joe's birthday. His birthday was the 19th, so we decided to celebrate this past weekend. My friend from Florida came to visit, well he is actually from NY, but I met him in Florida. Saturday he came up and went to the DMB conert with us. We all had a blast. Grandpa Tom spent the weekend watching Colin, and boy does Colin love his Grandpa Tom. It sounds like they had a good time. Here are some pics from this weekend. Colin came home sick, he had a fever of 103. He seemed fine but he was very drowsy and had no energy. So we just layed in bed for the whole day. At on point is temp went up to 104.6 and I was getting really anxious but it had went down after I gave him a bath. I was really nervous, I hate when his temp gets so high, it is scary. But we sent him to day care today so hopefully we his feeling better. I think he is teething again, he only has 6 more teeth to come in. His second molars might be coming in and I believe that that is what is bothering him. Here are some pics of him snuggled in bed.

Well it has been awhile since I updated everyone. Last week was kind of busy, I have been working in preparation for the AFT Convention, just some data entry at home which was keeping me busy last week. Joe and I just got back from the City, New York that is; and it was soooo much fun. We went and saw two Broadway plays!!! In the afternoon we saw, "Jersey Boys" and in the evening we saw, "Spring Awakening." Both were great, Joe liked Spring Awakening better and I liked Jersey Boys better. While we were livin' it up in NYC, Colin got to spend the weekend at his Nana and Poppi's, I heard he had a blast. I have entered Colin in the Saratogian's Cuttest Kids Contest, so this past Sunday, (the 15th) Colin's picture was posted and the public will be voting for the Cuttest Kid. There was 5 or 6 catergories, birth to 6 months, 6 months-1 year old, 1 year old, 2 year old, 3-4 year olds. If he wins his picture will be posted in the Saratogian and he will receive a certificate declaring him to be the Cuttest Kid and he will also receive a $50 US Savings Bond, runner-up will receive a $25 US Savings Bond. So keep your eyes peeled, if he wins (which I have a good feeling he will) it will be posted in the Monday July 7th paper!!

Today is beautiful out; Colin and I just came in from playing outside. I brought home the water table and finally we had a chance to play with it at home. He loves it! "Thanks Poppi!" Well there is always a first for everything, Colin colored on the wall...Daddy is not going to be happy. But you gotta love that he is learning! :(

Today is Thursday! Almost through the week, still an the prowl for a job. It is not easy. But I have a feeling something will come up soon. Colin is doing good, he is learning so many new words. Yesterday he said "dinner" and it was funny because Joey asked, "How did he say dinner?" and I said "Dinner." He couldn't believe Colin said it like it sounds. Colin is so smart. Here is a video of us on our hike. We went to this beautiful waterfall, I guess it used to be an old dam. We sat on the rocks and just enjoyed the soothing sounds of the water and birds. We were very lucky that it didn't rain because the hike was very steep and we probably wouldn't have had much fun getting back. It was so beautiful and WOW, what a hike!!!

Today is our 2nd anniversary!!! Yea!!! Colin is at daycare all day, then off to Nana and Poppi's for an overnight. Joe has the day off so we are trying to think of something to do. We are thinking hiking and then dinner. I can't believe it has been 2 years, it has gone by so fast. The day to me is all a blur. But we do have pictures and video to remember. Here is a pic from 2 years ago to remind us.

Tommorow is our 2nd wedding anniversary. I am not feeling all that great, but we are going to try to do something. Colin must of given me his cold. Ugh! That's okay I'd rather be sick for him. Grandpa Tom is coming up so we can go out to dinner. Colin loves his Grandpa Tom, he calls him "Tooommm" It is the cuttest thing ever.

Today we went to my parents house for a bbq. It was really delicious! Colin had a ball. My father bought him a water table, a sand box and a toddler picnic table. He absolutly loved the water table. Here are some pictures of him enjoying his new toys from his Poppi (or Papa) that is what Colin calls him.

Yesterday was rainy out, so Colin and I just stayed inside. He has a stuffy nose but seems to be fine. Last night was a "Welcome Home" ceremony for my mother-in-law. She was on active duty in Iraq, which is amazing. It must of been so scary. She showed a slide show of her journey, it was neat to see everything. It was nice to see her and everyone as well. We haven't seen a lot of them for a long time. We felt bad we had to leave but Colin was getting cranky, we wouldn't sit still. Here are some pics from last night.
